The San Diego Superior Court will shut down its website (sdcourt.ca.gov) for routine maintenance on Saturday, February 13 from 6:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. The website closure will affect all San Diego Superior Court webpages.

San Diego Superior Court Closed February 12 and 15

The San Diego Superior Court will be closed on Friday, February 12 and Monday, February 15, 2021, in observance of the statewide holidays commemorating Lincoln’s Birthday and Presidents’ Day.

The public is urged to visit the Court’s website at sdcourt.ca.gov to handle traffic tickets or obtain court information.

San Diego Superior Court to Resume Jury Trials in February

January 27, 2021

San Diego Superior Court jury trials were suspended throughout most of 2020, though a few trials were held in October and November. Jury trials were again suspended in December and January; however, the Court now aims to resume jury trials in February 2021.

In observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. statewide holiday, the San Diego Superior Court will close all courtrooms and business offices on Monday, January 18, 2021.

San Diego Superior Court Judge Harry Elias Retires

Judge Harry M. Elias will officially retire from San Diego Superior Court on January 3, 2021, just days after celebrating his 30th anniversary on the bench.

In observance of the Christmas and New Year’s Day statewide holidays, the San Diego Superior Court will close all courtrooms and business offices on Friday, December 25, 2020, and Friday, January 1, 2021.

All courtrooms and business offices will provide normal business hours on the days surrounding the holidays.
