Professional Providers of Supervised Visitation (PPSV) List

DISCLAIMER

The Superior Court of California, County of San Diego (court), maintains a Professional Providers of Supervised Visitation List (“PPSV List”) to provide court users with contact information of self-identified professional providers of supervised visitation. The PPSV List is provided to court users as a courtesy. There is no law requiring that the court provide a list of this kind to court users. Additionally, there is no regulatory agency in California that oversees or monitors professional providers of supervised visitation, and no licensing or certification processes.

Notwithstanding, according to Family Code section 3200, all professional providers of supervised visitation must operate their programs in compliance with the “Uniforms Standards of Practice for Providers of Supervised Visitation” which can be found in the California Rules of Court, Standards of Judicial Administration, Standard 5.20. The professional providers of supervised visitation who are included on the PPSV List have voluntarily submitted a Declaration and Request for Inclusion on the Professional Providers of Supervised Visitation (SDSC Form #ADM-391) signed under penalty of perjury, proof of TrustLine registration, proof of completion of 24-hours of training, and a Declaration of Supervised Visitation Provider (Professional) JC Form #FL-324(P) signed under penalty of perjury. A parent wishing to verify the TrustLine registration of a professional provider of supervised visitation, must call TrustLine at 1-800-822-8490. The court does not verify any of the information provided by the professional providers of supervised visitation on the PPSV List.

It is the parties’ responsibility to select a professional provider of supervised visitation. Court users are not required to choose a provider from the PPSV List and it is not intended to restrict court users from exploring other options available for selecting a professional provider of supervised visitation. The PPSV List is not an exhaustive list of the all available professional providers of supervised visitation.

Professional providers of supervised visitation reflected in the PPSV List are not affiliated with, are not under contract with, and are not operated or overseen by the court. The court does not endorse, recommend, evaluate, screen, supervise, or monitor the listed providers or their facilities. Inclusion on the PPSV List does not create any contract between the provider and the court, nor does it create any employment rights, express or implied, on behalf of the professional provider of supervised visitation.

In addition to the information above, by accessing the PPSV List, you understand and agree, that the court:

  • Is not a party to any transaction between the party/court user and the provider, and is not liable for the cost of any services.
  • Is not responsible or liable in any way for the acts, omissions, or services of any of the listed providers, or for any other action taken based upon the information provided in the PPSV List.
  • Is not responsible for any damages arising directly or indirectly from services provided by any of the listed professional providers of supervised visitation.
