Jonathan Vinoskey was selected to serve as the foreperson of the 2023-2024 San Diego County Grand Jury, which started service on July 1, 2023.

Together with 18 other San Diego County residents, he represents the people of San Diego County in a watchdog role investigating governmental agencies and public entities within the county.

Vinoskey draws from his business and technical education and experience as he assumes the grand jury foreperson role. He has been a San Diego County resident for over 20 years, relocating from the east coast to raise his family and enjoy all the county provides.

Serving on the San Diego County Grand Jury, Vinoskey says, offers a unique opportunity to effect positive change in the community. He looks forward to working with his fellow grand jurors to investigate important matters and provide meaningful recommendations.

“As grand jurors, we are dedicating a year to investigate, evaluate, and report on our local government on behalf of our fellow citizens,” said Jonathan Vinoskey. “This is in the best tradition of representative democracy and a great way to have a role in keeping San Diego a world-class place to live.”
