If you are seeking to be excused for any reason, you may do so online by CLICKING HERE, or you may complete the REQUEST FOR EXCUSE section on the Summons and mail it to the court using the enclosed return envelope. The request for excuse must be clear as to why a postponement to a later date will not solve the problem. There is no statutory exemption by occupation. You will only be notified if your excuse is not granted. Please make sure to include the date and your signature at the bottom of the Summons.
