A tentative ruling is the proposed ruling of the court. Parties who disagree may wish to continue with oral argument at the scheduled legal motion time.
Any party who wishes to orally argue the motion may appear by telephone or video by calling Court Call at (888) 882-6878, or by using the free Microsoft Teams App (MS Teams) when it becomes available for each department. The initial phase of the Microsoft Teams expansion will consist of select departments and occur on January 15, 2021. The remaining departments are transitioning on January 22, 2021. To confirm whether your department has a Microsoft Teams option available, please refer to the court’s Civil Independent Calendar Hearings webpage. If your department displays an MS Teams link it means the MS Teams option is available.
Failure to appear shall be deemed a waiver of oral argument. If neither party appears at the scheduled hearing, the tentative ruling shall become the final order of the court on the date set for the hearing.
Tentative rulings are available online by 4:00 p.m. before the scheduled motion day.
