As of November 5, 2012, this department will no longer be providing a court reporter on all Civil and Family Law matters.

Ex Parte – Ex parte appearances are scheduled for Monday through Thursday, beginning at 9:00 a.m. by reservation only.  Papers must be filed by noon on the court day prior to the hearing, with the appropriate fee.  Notice to the opposing party must be given by 10 a.m. the previous court day.  To reserve an ex parte hearing, contact the calendar clerk at the number provided above.

Law and Motion - Noticed motion hearings are by reservation only. To reserve a date, contact the calendar clerk at the number provided above. Motions, unless specially set, are on Fridays at 1:30 p.m.  Counsel must provide the calendar clerk with a time estimate.  The Court reserves the right to move matters estimated to take more than 20 minutes.

Motions for Reconsideration - Requests for motions for reconsideration are filed pursuant to CCP §1008 directly in D-46. The Court will review the request and determine if the matter will be placed on calendar. Counsel will be notified accordingly.

Telephone Appearances - The California Rules of Court shall govern telephonic appearances.

Trials - Court hours for trial are Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
