Superior Court of California - County of San Diego: Appeals: Where to File Your Appeal: Appeals - Civil Limited Jurisdiction
      
Civil - Limited Jurisdiction (disputes involving $25,000 or less*)

If you wish to appeal a trial court decision on a limited jurisdiction civil matter (including Writs), file your appeal in the trial court location where the case was heard.  Your appeal will be heard by the Appellate Division of the Superior Court.
