Traffic School Information

Approximately two to three weeks after receiving your traffic ticket, you may receive a courtesy notice from the court in the mail. This notice will tell you if you are eligible to attend traffic school and have your ticket dismissed. Traffic school eligibility shall be determined by California Rules of Court, rule 4.104. If you are eligible and decide not to attend traffic school, your automobile insurance, as well as other areas, may be adversely affected.

Do not attend traffic school unless your courtesy notice tells you that you are eligible to attend.

When you receive your courtesy notice, if you are eligible, a list of traffic schools will be attached. You may go to the traffic school of your choice.
